1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Scan-Cards services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Scan-Cards provides custom gift card and key tag printing services with barcodes and magnetic stripes for businesses.
2. Services Provided
Scan-Cards offers:
- Custom gift card printing with barcodes or magnetic stripes
- Custom key tag printing with barcodes
- POS compatibility verification
- Barcode number generation
- Custom design services
3. Orders and Quotes
All orders begin with a quote request. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Orders are not confirmed until:
- Payment has been received
- Design proof has been approved by the customer
- POS compatibility has been verified (when applicable)
4. POS Compatibility
Scan-Cards reviews POS compatibility before production. However, final compatibility depends on proper POS configuration and setup by the customer.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate POS system information and testing cards with their hardware before full deployment.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment via credit card, ACH transfer, or check (subject to clearance).
6. Design Approval and Changes
Customers must approve design proofs before production. Once production begins, design changes may not be possible.
Customers are responsible for reviewing proofs for accuracy, including spelling, formatting, and barcode numbers.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance and are not guaranteed. Scan-Cards is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers or events beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping addresses. Additional charges may apply for address corrections or reshipments.
8. Returns and Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.
Claims for defective products must be made within 30 days of delivery with photographic evidence.
9. Intellectual Property
Customers retain ownership of their designs, logos, and trademarks. By submitting designs, customers grant Scan-Cards permission to reproduce them for production purposes.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to use all submitted materials and that such use does not infringe on third-party rights.
10. Data Security
Scan-Cards takes data security seriously. Customer information and barcode data are handled securely and are not shared with third parties except as necessary to fulfill orders.

11. Limitation of Liability
Scan-Cards liability is limited to the purchase price of the products ordered. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We make every effort to ensure product quality and POS compatibility, but we cannot guarantee performance in all configurations.
12. Changes to Terms
Scan-Cards reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
